Heber Valley Camp

Living Arrangements

Heber Valley Camp is operated by approximately 110 -120 missionary couples, and single sister missionaries. Most missionaries live in their own recreational vehicles at the camp, with full hookups and all utilities provided. The camp has a small number of cabins for missionaries, but the waiting list for a cabin can be a year or longer.

Couples bring a UTV or ATV for transportation around the camp and its 35 miles of trails, and to get themselves from their RV or Cabin, to their work location.

Missionaries in 2025 will pay rent of $400 per month for an RV space or $700 per month for a cabin (if available). This monthly cost includes electricity, water, and propane for the RVs, and gasoline for ATVs and UTVs.

See FAQ (below) for additional information.

Mission Length & Timing

Missionaries serve 18 month missions. During the first year the missionaries serve at Heber Valley Camp from the first part of April to the end of September. At the end of September most of the missionaries return home for six months. While they are at home they will serve as a serve from home missionary in various ways, until they return the following April for their second summer of service in the Heber Valley Camp Mission. A few couples are called to serve during the winter months, as the camp remains open all year.

Missionary couples serve together and may be assigned to any of the Zones described below.
